This was my first time at Romero's with my wife and another couple. With high hopes of a good meal, it was unfortunately not the case. I ordered a combo #3 that came with 3 chicken tacos and rice/beans at a cost of $15.99, along with a side order of guacamole @ $4.99. The taco shells were out of a box, and not freshly hand-made, as I was expecting for that price. And, the guacamole was served as two small "ice cream scoops" that clearly came from a processed food container. Again, NOT freshly prepared like other Mexican food restaurants in town. Also, the chips were served in a small dish, and if you wanted more, there was an additional $0.69 charge per small bowl. The only real joy was a bottle of Michelob Ultra. Sadly, we will not be back.

First and foremost, this place makes the BEST salsa I have ever had. The fresh cilantro makes it oh so good. The service has always been excellent. The food is great and they make the best margaritas. We have only ever had one dish that we didn't care for, a shredded chicken burrito. The chicken was good, just a little bland. Other then that all the food we have had was great. The place is always clean.

I don’t think I could ever eat here again. I put 2 stars only bc my girl liked her flautas - but the burrito deserves 1 star - it was the driest, most terrible burrito I’ve ever tried. I had two bites and had to stop. I couldn’t believe it was so dry. Like it’s been reheated 3 times over. The rice and the beans on the plate were also 5 days old OR from a can… and this was supposed to be fresh Mexican food? 😒

They do a great service for the community by cashing checks that people could not other wise cash. They are friendly love this place

Came here for lunch with my friend. Chips and salsa were delicious. He got the taco plate and I ordered the double taquito plate, which came with a good helping of guacamole and sour cream. Rice and beans were very yummy. Everything were excellent!! The staff was very friendly and attentive. There was plenty of seating and the main dining area looked clean. Prices were decent. Would definitely go again! Thank you!

Great food and Drinks! You can't go wrong here. I have yet to find a plate that is not awesome. Need a cheap good dinner try the take out family packs ssshhhh it's a secret only available for pick up and take out NO dine in! The Fajitas are the best in town period! You are welcome.
